Iowa Football Recruiting

I am not gonna say Goodson would be 3rd string at ISU. Because that is a lot of projection. But any Iowa fan being honest has to admit that Goodson was one garbage time 80 yard run against Wisconsin away from having a pretty pedestrian season. And that was with a game against Minnesota whose run defenses was historically bad.
What game was it where Linderbaum was running stride for stride with him in the open field? I still laugh at that

Goodson>Brock. Not sure how you can say it any other way. Goodson has proven he’s a good RB. Brock hasn’t.
I’d honestly have to rate Goodson higher over Brock right now, just because of the playing time factor. However, if Brock impresses with the increased snaps he’ll get this year, he’ll be able to move ahead of him. It’s not Brock’s fault he was behind the best running back in college football, and the other backup was a 4th round pick. What a running back room!

Brock has done everything CMC has asked him to do and his involvement in the scheme has grown game to game. Of course he isn't going to get the carries/numbers playing behind an all-american/heisman contender but that doesn't diminish his value/abilities. Conversely, any hok back is going to have inflated numbers because that is the only offense they have and 2 out of every 3 plays are going to be sweep right and sweep left.

Brock wasn’t behind Najee Harris.
