I know. Can we all agree PFF isn’t a very good source?Great analysis
In a conference where running the ball matters, the return of Mehki Sargent and Tyler Goodson, who combined for over 650 yards after contact during an abbreviated 2020 campaign, should make Iowa a decent bet on the other side of the conference as Ohio State.
It has gone downhill lately. They are now fishing for clicks with a lot of their stuffI know. Can we all agree PFF isn’t a very good source?

Interesting. I think that’s too high for Iowa unless Petras improves significantly. I’m not going to hold my breath.
Petras literally smashed Jared Goffs records in HS
I hope so. Petras has a better arm than Jared Goff
Went to the same HS as Jared Goff, and the head coach said he has a better arm than Goff did.

You don't think Iowa State belongs in the top 10 or even top 15?Too high. I put both IA and ISU 15-25 range to start the year. I put IU in that range too. Much prefer a start to season like this as opposed to playing the Texas St. Armadillos and then hoping ISU shows up. You never know what you will get because ISU's current staff doesn't care about the game.

They finished 9th last year and return almost everyoneLaughable to see polls with them in the top 10
Well this is a new one. Iowa State was 3-2 in one possession games with two losses coming by less than a TDISU seems to be riding the vapors of a really weird year where it was a coin flip between 9-3 and 7-5

Well yeah you didn't beat anyone good and finished behind big broI mean I think Iowa finished in the 15 range and that does nothing for me.
It was a weird year in the Big 10 because they made it weird. If 15 makes you feel better, sure I put them at 15 to start. Laughable to see polls with them in the top 10, feel the same way about Iowa. ISU seems to be riding the vapors of a really weird year where it was a coin flip between 9-3 and 7-5, but won a major bowl game against an opponent that had no business being there. In any event, nice to see both teams up there, makes for a more interesting game. Iowa needs to get by Indiana though, which is another team I kind of scratch my head about.
