Why is this funny @Brodie0? I asked a legitimate question
I don't think I ever said he was as good as an athlete as either of them and I didn't even compare them to one another. Also, for being a whole lot better "athlete" than Kolar, neither of those two were unrecognizably better than Kolar as far as statistics go. Last year Charlie had 63 less receiving yards on only two more receptions with two more TD's than Hockenson did his final year.Kolar isn’t anywhere close to Fant (or even Hockenson, for that matter) as an athlete. A better comparison would be Scott Chandler. Kolar will be lucky to be a 3rd round pick - he’s not going in the first round.
To Iowa fans:
Is the Oregon State kid and Goodson your starting backfield on day one?
How much ISU football did you watch?Kolar isn’t anywhere close to Fant (or even Hockenson, for that matter) as an athlete. A better comparison would be Scott Chandler. Kolar will be lucky to be a 3rd round pick - he’s not going in the first round.

I'm not saying Charlie is better either, because I don't think that. But Charlie is close behind while not being as athletic.
The fact nobody is responding is telling IMO
Sorry, I didn't see this one. Looks like it, staff really likes Petras. They're not usually ones to name a starting QB prior to spring ball with no returning starter, but they did here. Throw in the fact they did it knowing a stud like Deuce (who we fended off the likes of powerhouse programs Georgia, Tenn, ISU, and Baylor for) is coming in, that says a lot. Wonder if they believe he'll be the next in a line of drafted Iowa QBs. Sure would be sweet. The fact nobody is responding is telling IMO

What do the ISU lines look like for next season?
We get to watch exciting footballs with some of the greatest fans in the country. You get to watch, well boring ole Iowa football, with a combination of blue hairs and white trash fans. It's easy to see why this is becoming a Cyclone State.
Link to concerns? They like Petras? I've heard they have some concerns about him actually and no that's not trolling
DL will be very good. OL is a huge question mark. Need Ramos to step up and be consistent IMO
Link to concerns?
Was hoping for a more in-depth analysis of the lines. Projected starters?
This one is going to come back to haunt you. Although you will probably have a different user name by then so it won't matter.I hope so. Petras has a better arm than Jared Goff, and Goodson put up the same yards per carry as a freshman all-American despite playing a schedule full of teams that actually play defense. Looks like a pretty promising backfield.
Just what I've heard. They're obviously not going to say publicly they're concerned about their QB. My fear is Hogan beats him out. I think he can be good
T - Ramos
G - Hudson
C - Newell
G - Downing
T - Trieber

That’s funny, because that’s exactly the opposite of what people close to the program are saying. The Iowa staff is super high on Petras and thinks he’s going to be really good.
Opposite of what I've heard but if he truly is the starting QB we'll find out soon enough
So I have a question. Iowa seems to have had their best seasons when they had a QB with at least some mobility. That seems to be the way football is going. Yet KF continues to put statues back there and they almost always seem to lose games they shouldn't. Does this frustrate your fan base?Barring injuries, and assuming there is a day one, yes.
