Comparing Big Ten West schedules to Big 12 schedules is sillyI totally agree with your point. I also think that's why its silly for people to think of 8-5 type seasons as a failure.

Sure. Best of luck if you think Campbell is going to build a program that ends up where you guys think this is headed with a bunch of recruiting classes ranked in the 40’s and 50’s.
As much as Iowa State fans hate to admit it, the Big XII has been down the last few seasons, too. It won’t stay that way forever, though. Iowa State really needs a big year here to take a jump with their recruiting moving forward if they want to consistently compete.
hoks as represented by JBO are little *****.
LOL. Maybe the BIG 10 west will take you when the next round of realignment comes?Comparing Big Ten West schedules to Big 12 schedules is silly
Wrong thread.
YikesLOL. Maybe the BIG 10 west will take you when the next round of realignment comes?
Is 7-5 good? Lol no it’s not good in comparison to competing for titles. Do rebuilding years happen though? Yes. Stop trolling. After the great 3 season stretch in the early 2000’s, Iowa went 7-5, 6-7, and 6-6.That is what I am saying. Is that good? you guys are fine with 7-5 type years.
*Was. He already signed with Iowa. When Bama wants you, you know you’re a special player.I heard he is really blowing up.
Iowa doesn't even compete for Big Ten West titles let alone actual conference titlesIs 7-5 good? Lol no it’s not good in comparison to competing for titles. Do rebuilding years happen though? Yes. Stop trolling. After the great 3 season stretch in the early 2000’s, Iowa went 7-5, 6-7, and 6-6.
You think Purdy is special?*Was. He already signed with Iowa. When Bama wants you, you know you’re a special player.
Well it depends on the context of the situation and team ya know? With the production coming back for ISU and how well they did last year, 8-5 would not be a good year in context for this year.I totally agree with your point. I also think that's why its silly for people to think of 8-5 type seasons as a failure.

I was talking about 7-5 in comparison to like an Oklahoma or Ohio State. But in comparison to Nebraska, yeah, 7-5 is good lol.Iowa doesn't even compete for Big Ten West titles let alone actual conference titles
You had a guy on here saying ISU was a powerhouse and I am asking how they will sustain it.Is 7-5 good? Lol no it’s not good in comparison to competing for titles. Do rebuilding years happen though? Yes. Stop trolling. After the great 3 season stretch in the early 2000’s, Iowa went 7-5, 6-7, and 6-6.
You sure about that? When Bama wants you, you know you’re a special player.
What’ll be funny is if Purdy flops and completely sucks this year.
Purdy is not clutch nor that good.
Right now I would not trade Petras for Purdy.
Purdy sucks and CMC is beginning to follow in the same path as Rhoads.
Purdy has yet to prove he can step up and win on big stages.
If Purdy didn’t suck against Oklahoma, ISU winsYou sure about that?
The best
Second best
Purdy was money vs Oklahoma and they won by 7 last year. And you said you would take Petras over him lol!If Purdy didn’t suck against Oklahoma, ISU wins
1. wasn’t mePurdy was money vs Oklahoma and they won by 7 last year. And you said you would take Petras over him lol!
Well the word powerhouse is entirely subjective. I wouldn’t classify us as a powerhouse though. We haven’t earned that yet and are going to have to consistently do what we did last year. Having one “down year” doesn’t mean you’re not a powerhouse though if you’re only talking about how we do two years from now.You had a guy on here saying ISU was a powerhouse and I am asking how they will sustain it.
