Cloeman-Lands transfer

BT has them #3 right now. Up there with some of the best teams of the Self era.

I still miss the 2020 tournament not being played. Not that I have a lot of sympathy for Kansas fans, but that might have been the best team in school history. But it never got a chance to prove it.

Would have been another Final Four in 2020. Maybe even them and Baylor in the championship

After the news of his transfer to Kansas, what does this say to you- either KU really is desperate, or Prohm really didn't know how to use him. I really think KU is really, really desperate.
Why would it be considered desperate to sign a guy who in the best conference in the nation averaged 14 points a game in 32 minutes and shot 40% from three?

This is a great point, actually. 2 guys good enough to transfer to 2 of the top programs in America is just further proof of the disaster Steve Prohm was to only win 2 games last year.

Yeah, you can slice and dice it any way you want, but CSP was responsible for that turd last year, and most of the embarrassing losses at ISU over the last 20 years. It wasn't like he couldn't recruit, and it wasn't like he didn't have good players. Basically the man couldn't coach.

Meh. Competent but uninspiring sci-fi action film. Certainly nothing as embarrassing as the prequels, the Disney Wars sequels, and Solo, but the whole thing felt kind of bloodless.

If it didn't have the Star Wars IP attached, it would be remembered like John Carter or Jupiter Ascending.

As in, "Wait, what? Never heard of that movie."

Definitely the best out of the other ones, though, but it doesn't have much for competition.

Blah. Utterly derivative pap. Rock bottom.

I thought the prequels and sequels were entertaining but that’s about it. None of those movies made you care one bit about what happened to the characters. So it’s mostly just hoping for some good action and cool effects. As someone who loved the OT and saw them in the theatre, I don’t find it funny at all. I find it sad.

To me, the best thing They’ve done since ROTJ is the Mandelorian followed by Clone Wars and Rebels cartoons.

The clown (me) laughs to cover not his happiness but his sadness.

Good for him. He's been on a lot of teams that have struggled. Now he gets to go to a team where he doesn't have to be the man and has pretty much guaranteed he'll be in the NCAA tournament.

Sucks that we have to play him, but Kansas was going to be good with or without him.

Two players ISU didn't want are wanted by two top 5 programs in the country. If they have great seasons, the question is what it says about this staff in not wanting them? We'll see....

Please provide a link supporting the belief that current staff did not want JCL, especially since he wouldn't have counted against limits. I read suggestions that JCL wanted to move on and didn't wish to be part of a rebuild. Perhaps there are reports I haven't seen. Thank you.

Iowa State wanted him back. He thought about coming back. He hung around the team and new staff for a little bit before making his decision.

He’s leaving Iowa State to be a guy on a good team instead of the guy here. Don’t blame him at his age with bigger things than basketball on his plate right now. Says a lot about the talent level of Prohms teams when our best players go to better teams to be role players.

Here is the difference. Both players had the be ”The Guy” at ISU and they were put in positions where it was difficult for them to be their best. Neither player will be required to play the same role at Gonzaga or Kansas. Therefore, they will be better players and a greater asset to their respective teams.
