No doubt about it. Paul has always been a huge Mac loyalist. Coupled this with the fact that he never got to the inside of the new regime. He makes some valid points but he clearly is grinding an axe that is motivated by his own inability to develop any relationship with ISU football and athletics in general once Mac was ousted. Paul Clarke is also kinda a weenie if you ever have met the dude. A wimp for sure. (insert crybaby smilie here)

Kind of wonder what Mack Brown was thinking when he sent Chizik this way. At the time he said is was a good university and a good place to live. After they named Chizik's replacement as the new HC, I wonder if Mack slapped him on the back and pushed him out the door with a hearty good riddance. Then he got to do what he wanted to do all along.

Has Clark even hinted at any of those feelings about Gene before? If not that is a pretty cowardly piece by him, in my opinion.

Yes, he has. Even to the point that I started taking some things he said with a grain of salt. As it turns out, he was more right with his insinuations than I chose to believe at the time.
