No he wasn't. Larry Bird is not even on the same planet as those 2.Peak Bird was better than peak LeBron. Peak Bird was better than about everyone, including Jordan. But peak bird only lasted about 18 months.

Michael Jordan could not guard Kevin Durant. 7-0 on 6-6

He did not have the highest vertical in NBA history and he couldnt guard him. That's just ridiculous. You aren't guarding him with anyone under 6-8 regardless of how good of a defender they are.Jordan was all defensive team like 6 times, with the highest vertical in NBA history. He could guard him.

If you think he could get up higher than Spud Webb you are crazy. Dominique Wilkins had a 48 inch vertical. You are either making **** up or getting bad info.Yes he was. Look at the stats and results.

It says Wilt Chamberlin had a 48 inch vertical too.Are you serious? Just Google highest vertical in NBA history. It's not hard.

It also says that was measured at UNC and articles everywhere say it was more like in the high 30s low 40s. There is no way his feet are getting higher off the ground than someone like Mugsy Bogues at 5-3 dunking. Are you serious? Just Google highest vertical in NBA history. It's not hard.
LOL yeah clearly. LOLLOL. Just give up man, you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
You have to compare them based on their dominance in the era in which they played. The Steelers dynasty of the 1970s had an O-line that averaged 260 lbs. Of course a mediocre DL from today would steamroll them. People get bigger, stronger, faster as we evolve and with advances in nutrition, training, technology, etc. Jordan's Bulls went through Magic's Lakers, Barkley's Suns, Drexler's Blazers, Kemp/Payton's Sonics, Malone/Stockton's Jazz. Not to mention Detroit's Bad Boys to get there. Don't think you can knock the level of MJ's competition.
You realize the Sonics won 64 that year? They won because they Rodman was able to slow Kemp down.
Based on what? The Sonics won 64 games in a loaded West. That was the most talented team the Bulls faced in that entire run. Them or the Jazz team the 2nd time around.Sonics weren't even 4th best team if that era.
Bulls
Rockets
Pacers
JaZz
Knicks
Sonics
Blazers
Suns
The bulls drafted Pippen. Jordan didn’t recruit a super team like Lebron did.How many does Jordan have without Pippen and later Rodman? Pippen almost took the Bulls to the finals the year MJ sat out.
Kareem just might be the goat and I am not a Kareem, Jordan, or LeBron fan.

We live in the era of free agency. Jordan would never have stuck around if he would have been drafted by someone like Cleveland or Milwaukee. Even though the Bulls weren't a great franchise it was still Chicago. The bulls drafted Pippen. Jordan didn’t recruit a super team like Lebron did.
And even if Jordan would have recruited a super team he wouldn’t have followed them to Miami or Los Angeles, they would have come to him in Chicago. Lebron followed Wade to Miami, sorry but that was such a weak move.
