"the luck of the draw, went totally against the Hawkeyes. It didn’t matter in the first round, but Iowa’s 15-2 draw against Grand Canyon was a classic tournament committee setup. Few teams in the country have the big men to compete with Garza inside and Iowa was handed the only low major around with three of them to throw at him. In round 2, it was the polar opposite. Wasn't Oregon missing their best player?
How are 20 year olds not fresh after a couple of days rest and winning the first round by such a wide margin?
But Iowa still has a much better basketball history than ISU has. That is crazy.
I don't see much optimism for next year if I'm an Iowa fan. Well...other than they play in the Little 14.

I just know I have Hok friends that will be all over this and it will be interesting to see what their answer is to 'What did they accomplish?'.

Saw that 95 points was the most in the tournament since 1992 or something.
So somehow there will be a correlation to the Laetner/Fab Five era and how great programs are in those types of games.
