The Fran fade

I'm just being a salty *****. I wish iowa would can Fran (that's been my opinion since he blew up a few years ago at tOSU). He's an average coach with an embarrassing temper.
We know. And we’re gonna use it for years.

A lot of people gargling Garza's nuts after the game, but what I saw from him I don't think will translate to the NBA. His defense sucks, never provides help defense (just stands there and lets the guy score), and constantly gets his shot blocked by much smaller players. Don't think he'll do well against athletic NBA bigs.

I think it is really cute CP84 is posting on Hawk boards how the future is so great bc P Mac and Keegan will be complete studs...Keegan i like alot but also consider Keegan will get the defensive attention by teams next year with Garza, JW, and Jobo gone..

P Mac had a couple nice games running and dunking...His outside shot is horrible and I've seen him miss a ton of layups..

P Mac is not Aaron White. If P Mac averages more than 10ppg next year I'll be surprised honestly..

Carry on.

I honestly hope that guy didn't reproduce.

I watch Garza and think “ya, guys a great player with NBA written all over him”.

then I watch an NBA game.

He's a borderline bench guy at best. If he could even sniff the first round he'd already be gone.

Garza is a great college player, nothing could take that away from him. I actually think he’ll be a solid pro, he’s just such a hard worker and persistent aggressive force.

Too bad he had to live out his meaningless career as a suckeye. They really finished 22-9!? And that was a 2 seed!? My God the media propped up that conference with absolutely no shame, unlike anything I can recall in my lifetime. Just so G-damn desperate for SOMEONE/ANYONE from that conference to be legit. Ohio State and iowa were solid middle of the pack teams, objectively. This was obvious from anyone outside of loser big 10 journalists that moved big10 teams UP in the rankings after losing.

I guess I can’t be too disappointed. Watching the suckeyes DREAM season go up in flames basically instantly in the postseason is pretty great.

There's a reason Garza on every single draft board is a late 2nd rd pick at best. He was 2 time college POY and is at best late 2nd rd.

Wts....I think his work ethic could have him stick on a team maybe..He will prob get drafted then immediately be sent to the G league to see what he can do.

He will get run out of the gym in NBA by other bigs running the floor but if a team wants to make him a focal point in the post he def could be valuable.

I'm curious to see if Garza 3pt shooting translates bc NBA line is another 18 inches deeper..
