Ignoring rivalry bias as much as possible, how do you think Iowa will fair in the tournament? One moment I have them out in the round of 32 because I expect them to have an off day then I'll change my mind and put them through to the elite 8. Are they a strong enough team to survive against an Oregon, Kansas, USC, etc. if they don't bring their best game?

I've watched pretty much only NBA basketball this year so I really have no idea.

Given past history it's hard to imagine a Fran team peaking at the end of a year but it seems they have maintained their typical level of play so far this year.

I have a tough time picking them less than the S16. Their opponents most likely havent played anyone like Garza all year.

They should make the round of 32 but it will be a struggle and they will lose there if they make it. They are not built for a good tourney run. Garza will be called much more closely for his offensive physicality and their guard play has been bad recently. Garza gets in foul trouble and/or you get guard games like JorBo and CMac had in B1G Tourney and any of their opponents will beat them.

Iowa saved it's best basketball for the end of the year with it's typical Fran Fade. Iowa moved up the AdjD metrics almost 30 spots over the last 10 games while going 8-2 with the only losses to #1 seeds (Michigan and Illinois). Iowa beat 6 NCAA tournament teams out of those 8 wins.

Sweet Sixteen for sure..... Grand Canyon is garbage and Oregon has no big guys whatsoever to contain Garza.

I'm not sure after that? I could see them losing to KU or USC, but I wouldn't bet on them to lose against either of them. So they should get to the Elite Eight and lose to the Zags most likely.
