What does that have to do with Pollard paying $10 million to hire TJ? Guess he could get back some money by licensing an Otzelburger to the local Applebees or something.
Not saying his record would be that much better but TJ lost his starting point guard relatively early in the year if I'm not mistaken.
I have no idea how TJ will do but damn UNLV has been a coaching turnover machine since Jerry was there. It's seriously mindboggling.
Got to be tough to get consistent recruits there.
He may well be a good coach and possibly do well at ISU. It's just the timing and at least the perceived lack of interviewing or pursuing some of the bigger names that have been floated around that seems really questionable to a lot of people.
This might be one of those moves where it is just dumb enough to actually work out. It really doesn't make much sense, but that it is probably why it could actually work.

I dislike Levi so much and will never understand Hawkeye Heaven's appeal or why his legion of followers always rise to defend him. Cyclone Larry is one of the better Twitter accounts out there. Love me some Cyclone Larry.

Never had one. Someone just told me that there was this crazy dude who posts like 24/7 about Iowa so I made an account like 3 weeks ago. It is nice to finally meet you Mr. CyTwins. But honestly, I have already had my fun with you and I only came back to talk about Cyclone Larry. Then the basketball rat made fun of Larry and I had to defend his honor. If you want to talk about Larry by all means I will participate, but if not, then I'm out.
