Iowa has had 2 losing seasons under Fran. One being his first year. Other than the 2011-2012 season, Iowa has been pretty comfortably over .500 every other year, so that’s a pretty dumb thing to say.

Wrong. He struggled early, but over his last 10 games he shot 38.1% from 3. He’s also a good defender and a solid rim protector.

In the 2019-20 season he literally played 6 games. The last year he played was 2017-18, he obviously has improved since then. He’s a pretty good shooter.
You can’t necessarily use 10 games as a generalization of his entire career at Iowa... he shoots 44% from 2 (not good for a Big) and he shoots 30% from the 3 (not good for anyone).
He also only averages 3 rebounds a game which is also not good for a big. You’d have to truly spin his stats to make any of them look good. The only excuse anyone can make in favor of him is that he’s had awful injury luck which might’ve stunted his development and abilities.
