Fran McCaffrey has less tournament wins at Iowa than Steve Prohm has at ISU
1 day since the coach's kid went after Iowa Hawkeye personality Chris Hassel on Twitter for winning a Big 10 Tournament quarterfinal.
Fran is 5-10 in the conference tourney. Is that not good? I thought this might actually be the year where they win a second game in that tourney but nope. He did tie his best record there though at 1-1.

In fairness to Jordan. It appears that his index finger may have touched the ball. Although he covered his entire forearm.
I don’t even care if the call was wrong or not. A senior D1 PG sobbing on Twitter about it is straight up embarrassing, especially when the call was completely unimportant to the outcome
Aaron White also was sick and tired of losing to teams he knew they were better than.
Illinois is a really good team. It will be interesting to see what they do when they are challenged.

I am not hearing much out of the hok fanbase supporting Fran. Things are starting smell much like Tom Davis' end. To be clear, Davis could coach circles around Fran but he was let go even though he had some success - just couldn't win the national title Iowa deserved. Seems Fran is in the same place - has a NPOY on the squad and if you listen to hok fans, a couple of NBA players. Yet all signs point to 1, maybe 2 wins in the tourney. Is the thought they will let Fran coach until Patrick graduates regardless?
Iowa might be the least classiest team in college basketball.
