The Fran fade

I don't see a notable difference. To the naked eye, I thought he was more dominant last year. Could be just due to the element of surprise though. I mean nobody saw it coming last year.
Shooting more efficiently, especially from 3, passing the ball better, improved from the free throw line, and a little better defensively. All of this while seeing a lot more doubles than last year. He’s quite a bit better in my eyes.

He didn't go pro last year because he wanted to come back and set records for Iowa. He knows his draft stock wouldn't plummet barring him being awful or him getting injured. He also knew it wouldn't be able to rise much after his incredible year last year. He's still sitting in that late 2nd round / undrafted area.

Someone might take a 2nd round flier on him. Still think his best shot at a long pro career is in Europe though.

I disagree. I don’t think he had any shot of getting drafted last year. Now I’d be pretty confident saying he will, whether that’s mid-late second round. He also never had the chance to be the guy during march madness which is a dream for many.

I remember ISU fans mocking him for his offseason work on getting better at three pointers. Seems to have paid off.
Do you think that will be the difference maker in a professional career? I personally think its defensive footwork.

But then again, weren't you someone that couldn't just honestly say if Frank or Fran was more responsible for his growth?
