Most of my southern sites are in a rolling blackout. Dont know about home. Your site is still good as far as I know.
Are you sure you're not looking at the times instead of the temps?
Yeah, now heard it’s happening to the west of me. Daughter friend told her they are in one. They called the power company to ask, the reason they were given could set some people off.
we're getting to positive temps today so I thought the wave had passed you guys today too

Overnights were still low. Days temps supposed to be positive.
Even in the cold temps, the mid-February higher sun compared to if this were mid-January and low wind makes so much difference.
We'll likely see flooding over the next few weeks if temps are in the 30s and sunny. Quite a bit of snow to burn through.

Went to an appt and couldn't log in when I got back. Apparently IT accidentally deleted 10,000+ user profiles. Getting me out of work that I hate doing so I am not complaining too much.

Daughter has her driving test this morning so she can get her license. The testing place is out in the middle of nowhere out in an industrial park. There is a warning on the website that the person who brings the test driver will not be allowed inside so they should dress appropriately for the weather. It was -17 at 0700 this morning and we are under a windchill advisory until 0900.
I'm sure since her test isn't until 0920 everything will be fine...

On the fly rental car reservation so husband can drive to frickin' Fort Madison tonight.
My kids' school vehicle is a 97 s10 blazer (or was their school car, now I drive it since the pickup heist). When it gets so cold, it won't start because the fuel pump needs X amount of pressure and after a couple cold days, the fuel tank doesn't have the pressure and won't start. Have to let it warm up unfortunately. I even had a block heater put in it and it makes no difference. -10 to -20 makes it immovable.
