Iowa Football Recruiting

Based on how aloof some of your comments have been the last couple days I can't tell if this is a serious question.
I love how you're hanging onto that Garza comment even when I admitted not thinking critically about it lol. Find another schtick.

I honestly have no idea exactly how much of a correlation there is in having a good strength coach and a good football team, but there definitely is some correlation. I also recall prior to Doyle being labeled as a racist and paid to leave the program, Iowa fans put him on a platform as one the major reasons for Iowa's continued success in football.

He was they highest paid S&C coach in the country for a reason...

I won't until you admit to the board you were wrong.

I understand. I wouldn’t want to admit it either.

i don’t live in the Iowa anymore, I didn’t follow their recruiting, just what twins c4l posts. I was mistaken on all those commitments.

other than the dm East kid, were any of them black?

Didn't take him long to jump to an NFL team.

Be interesting to see how a guy that was such an incredibly rogue racist, but only when no one else was around with even the his close friend head coach and all the assistants in the department didn’t know, will do when he tries those methods on professional athletes.

I mean they “fired” him for being a racist. How will that work with professional athletes?

that's probably true to some extent. How good is debatable. This year was good and next year should be as well. After that we'll see.
I don't get why you think he won't continue to be good. You are the same guy who probably said we couldn't replace Montgomery, Lazard, Butler, etc

In all honesty, it's usually 2-3 teams that make the CCG every year for every P5 conference.
That's true. Programs rise and fall also. But teams like Texas, Michigan, Fla St., USC you expect to bounce back because they have so many built in recruiting advantages. A team like Nebraska really soesn't so they may never recover.

Same goes for Tennessee.

North, he's a Polar Bear. Iowa needed an AA comitt so bad they recruited him out of position. He's got the skill set to be a pretty good LB. Hopefully they don't waste him too long as their emergency RB.
