Maybe a reason Iowa can’t land a RB. Coaches are getting wandering eyes
Losing Foster sucks but very happy for the guy, he's going places and can't blame him for taking an NFL gig. He's been great.
ISU definitely has a higher ceiling in '21 than Iowa does. Beyond '21, Iowa's future looks just fine though, and better than ISU's. Their recruiting rankings have been on a steady climb over the past 3 years from #41 to #36 to #23.
#35 - #45, I don't think Iowa is all of a sudden going to become a team that gets top 25 recruiting class all the time.
you really think you will be able to pull that high with a head coach that allows racism? not to mention he is getting up there in age also how much longer is he going to be coaching now?
ISU hovers around 50 Since Campbell took over and still finished with a top 10 team.
His past 2-3 classes have been the best on paper too. Excited for those kids to develop and get infused in the next year or two. A lot of young talent to be excited about.
I think before last summer KF wanted to go till he was 70 or so. I think he really wanted to get his career record over .600 and qualify for the College HOF. Now I'm not so sure how much longer he will go.
Guessing more in the 65-70 range. Not many want to play for a racist coach.

well that ship sailed when he decided to ignore racism in his program.
And to give that guy the only award of that type and to still call him a close friend on his way out? Woof.
I wonder how Iowa fans will react if that still some how happens at this point or if it doesn't happen.. either way could really be interesting. Wonder if Campbell name will get thrown out there yet again for a new coaching search..
This is old hat for Iowa. KF has recruiting classes in the 50’s as well and pumped out top 10 teams. The thing about always having top 50 classes is some don’t always get you a Purdy, Hall, Butler, Montgomery, Rose. Some don’t end up having a Stanzi, CJ, or Greene, or Wadley, or Jewel, or King, or Jackson, or Clark, or Sanders, or Hokenson, or Greenway, or the list goes on and on.
Listen KF is the original doing more with less in this state. ISU was a 7 win team last year with virtually the same team, it takes time to build those guys into top 10 material and many hits from a top 50 class. They will go right back to being a 7/8 win team after ‘21

A reminder that the HoKKKs have a racist football program as documented in the 2018 internal investigation and the 2020 Husch-Blackwell review. Black Lives Matter but not to KirKKK, scrambled eggs matter.
