Well Nixon was a better shooter than Connor which isn't hard to go and he was shooting so much because the team sucked. It's not like he had one of the best players in the country on his team
Yes. Because it's a fair claim to make. You can't convince me that he gets the minutes he does because he's a huge piece to Iowa's team. He's not. The only reason you don't agree with me is because you're a die hard fan and don't want to talk bad about one of your players. That's fine.
It is a weird stance for ISU fans to keep rehashing. Everyone knows Connor is a poor shooter which is why he only shoots on average 3.5 times per game.
The thought that he only plays because his dad is the head coach is beyond stupid.

I can be critical of Iowa players.
Connor plays his role well most of the time. He did not do that last night and sat a ton in the second half.
You cannot see that because you are used to watching ISU guys play hero ball. Iowa leads the country in assists per game and ISU is ranked 290th. Iowa as a team is #1 in the country in A/TO ratio and ISU is 324th.
Connor plays a pretty big role in both of those stats for Iowa.
His season high for FG attempts is 9. It seems to me he knows his role well.

I mean we're what, 4 years removed from having arguably the best passing PG in college basketball history play for Iowa State in Monte Morris? We're 1 year removed from having a potential NBA ROY who was the best all around PG in the nation play for Iowa State in Tyrese Haliburton? SPARE ME.
No where in ANY of my criticisms of Connor did I say that he was a bad passer. I also said Connor does other things well, like rebound and on the defensive end. You're so f**** sensitive that you actually took me saying "his last name helps him get more minutes" as "if his dad wasn't the coach he wouldn't see the floor".
Here's a fun game we should play.. Iowa's what, number 8 in the nation? Let's look and see what teams Connor would start for in the top-25..
Gonzaga, Baylor, Villanova, Michigan, Houston, Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee, Illinois, Texas Tech, Virginia, Creighton, VT, WVU, Missouri, Wisconsin, UCLA, Purdue, KU, Drake.

You got to read comprehensively. In that post I literally told you that I said his father being the head coach allows him to play more. YOU took that as ME saying that Connor ONLY plays because his father is the head coach. Those are two completely different sentences.
Tell me, is there one team in the top 25 you think Connor would start for?
