Hawk fans on here are so cheap they probably pooled there money and only came with eleven cents. Most so called hawk fans on here have never stepped foot in Kinnick Stadium before as they are too cheap to go to game.

You are trying to explain why it is good that Iowa will be 8-4, (9-4, 1 million and 4, whatever you guys want), 2nd place in B1G West and ho-hum bowl. Fine, you feel it's good. It's your team, you don't have to defend that to us.

It does seem to be that no one disagrees that for the next 3 years at least, I will be an 'fill in your number"-4 team, 2nd in the B1G west and invited to a ho-hum bowl. That is all I am saying.

Why do you keep saying 8-4? Iowa has played 13 games a year for the past 7 non pandemic years, and Iowa has averaged 9 wins a year over that time.

If you are saying going 9-4 is bad, then you are just crazy. If you average 9 wins a year over a 6, 7, or 8 year span that will put you around the 10th best P5 program over that time period.

Um, didn't Wisky lose to Illinois in '19 and make it in? And I remember Wisky losing to NW a few years ago and making it in? I think 1 conference loss is manageable even within the division.

If you lose to NW or Wisky you have 0 chance of winning the division. IE if you lose to the division leader, they have to lose twice for you to jump over them

why do you only use 7 years and not a standard 5 or 10? trying to avoid that 4-8 season but include the 12-2 "UNDEFEATED" season just to prop up the 8-5 stats??
