The Fran fade

He's done things like that before. He once gave an extension and never told the media about it...nothing says being proud of your decision making like trying to hide it.

That extension was after Iowa went 19-15 and were one of the first four teams out of the NCAA tournament, not after the type of results that Prohm will deliver for ISU basketball this season.
There's a logical explanation for that. No crowds to get under Fran's skin and Fran has to be extra careful not to say something because it's easier to hear without those crowds.
Also, I said this last year, but winning changes behavior. Fran hasn't thrown fits because his team has played well all year.
I'm pretty sure my comment had nothing to do with Prohm or this season, please stay on point. Point is your inept AD was so ashamed of his coach he didn't even announce an extension.

Look, I have a ton of Iowa friends, two who are my best friends. They were furious when Fran was extended. They now say that obviously it all worked out, but they are worried it will all revert back to the mean after this senior class and JW leaves.
