The Fran fade

The original post I responded to was saying any team would look terrible missing so many guys due to Covid or injuries.

ISU was getting blown out by good teams and losing to average or bad teams when they were at full strength.
We honestly have not been full strength all season, maybe 1-2 games at best, maybe. Not that we would have won those, just a fact

Iowa State hasn't been at full strength all year

ISU also had a lot of new faces to the team. Iowa's guys have played together for years. In a Covid world, I'm sure there's some impact from that.

But again, why ask the question then?

The question was to see what ISU fans were seeing in the games they were healthy in that would cause them to throw out the Covid or injury excuse as to why they are getting blown out.

And the three games that I mentioned with healthy players didn't answer that?

Be honest...you would love to see Prohm retained...correct?

I don't have a dog in this fight. I just think the Athletic Dept would be doing him a big disservice if they forced him out or fired him during a COVID year and having injuries. It would be a terrible look for a coach that has won two Big 12 Conference Tournaments and made one Sweet 16.

And yet the AD will not sit back and allow the program to flail about...$2-3M isn't a large payout and he will reset the program if he thinks it needs a reset. Your AD would have awarded CSP a $500K bonus and a contract extension for his results this year.
