Do you know where else there were a lot of facts? 60+ kids saying they were treated differently by your coach because of the color of their skin.
How can you support that?
We're all biased towards our teams and our conferences.
Yeah Purdue, like Iowa State, is a tough place to coach college football at. We're incredibly blessed to have found CMC because we'd still be a revolving door of coaches and a doormat of P5 football had we not landed him.
Purdue has a lot more population within a few hours, so they should be able to get a few more dudes.

Purdue has been way more successful than ISU pre 2020. Not even in the same conversation.
Why would you think that? Someone posted that Ferentz inherited a 7-5 team which is completely wrong.
I posted the record of the last Fry team at Iowa.
They've won the B1G like once in the last 50+ years. Tiller was a heckuva coach but you're going back into years where most people weren't alive.
They also have an all time winning record, 10 bowl wins and has won 8 conference championships since the last time ISU won one. ISU is on a better trajectory, but Purdue's football program has been on a different level than ISU's football program.
You are good, you have all the excuses. Why do you insist on cluttering up a very simple assertion. You are trying to explain why it is good that Iowa will be 8-4, (9-4, 1 million and 4, whatever you guys want), 2nd place in B1G West and ho-hum bowl. Fine, you feel it's good. It's your team, you don't have to defend that to us.
It does seem to be that no one disagrees that for the next 3 years at least, I will be an 'fill in your number"-4 team, 2nd in the B1G west and invited to a ho-hum bowl. That is all I am saying.
When you read all the stories about African American players talking about being discriminated against, did it bother you? Or were you ok with it?

The all time win thing will always be weird to me.
I wouldn't necessarily say way more successful. Since 2000 they had one more 9 win season than we had (because you threw out our 2020 season just now for some reason). We've had one less 8 win season than them and two more 7 win seasons. We've also both had plenty of years in there which we've won 4 or less games.
Have they been better overall since the turn of the century? There's an argument to be made. That 2003 year where they went 9-4 and went to the Capital One Bowl was their best year. You threw out our best year in 2020.
