Iowa Football Recruiting

From '15-'19 Iowa faced 16 Big10 teams that were ranked in the final AP top 25 poll. ISU faced 16 Big12 teams there were ranked in the final AP top 25 poll in that same time. Of those 16 ranked teams, Iowa faced 9 teams that finished in the top 10 in the AP poll, ISU faced 8 top 10 teams.
List these teams please because I'm sure you just made it up

Iowa has played 13 games a year over the last 7 non pandemic years. Iowa has averaged 9 wins per year in that time. It is funny that ISU fans want to throw in a pandemic year where Iowa only played 8 games to drag that total win number down to 8 though.
Do you have any data from the current decade to support this alleged trend?

Sorry, it was 17 Big10 teams that were ranked in final top 25 AP poll that Iowa played over the last 5 non pandemic years. ISU played 16 Big12 teams ranked in the final AP top 25 over that same time period.

Iowa has averaged 9 wins a year over the last 7 non pandemic years. We can agree on that, correct?

Love how you use "Pandemic years" to justify Iowa, but you bring up over and over Oregon's 4-2 (I corrected it for you because that was their record when we played them) record to discredit us. Pick and choose when to use "Pandemic" excuses.

Nobody wants you here, leave forever please. Go find a tavern somewhere that all of you trolls can just sit in together.

When you are talking win totals of course a year that you play 40% less games than in a normal year that affects the totals a bunch. If you want to talk win%, including a pandemic year is fine, because the % is what it is, it isn't limited by the # of games.

If you don't like my posting, put me on ignore, your problem will be solved.

So then basketball doesn’t count either then.

glad we can clear this up.

So you’re going on record fully supporting every single thing Kirk has done at Iowa, right?

Remind me why Pandemic years don't count?

I know Iowa's year was screwed up by their conference - but hey- it's your conference, that is part of a program. Iowa chooses to be there. I think we have been very clear here that being in the B1G is a bad thing. You flaunt how great it is, until you don't because they do something stupid.

Because he's cherry picking. Especially considering he's using conference only games and the Big Ten had a full conference slate scheduled

Question to Iowa fans that think this year for football doesn't count.. Does this year count for Iowa's basketball program?

Is there really a lot of Iowa fans saying this or just some dweebs on Facebook?

Both football and basketball count. Why would Iowa fans discount football season when the Hawkeyes finished in the top 20 again?
Because the Big 10 conference as an entirety was down and that can never happen. Ever. Similar takes happen from avid supporters of other conferences. Cherry pick stats that help fit your narrative because God forbid the conference you play in has a down year.

Hawk fans on here have said it doesn't count.
