Are you going to reference "non pandemic years" for basketball as well?Iowa has averaged 9 wins a year over the last 7 non pandemic years. We can agree on that, correct?

I’d put Kirk a tick below Bill Snyder, Frank Beamer, and Mike Gundy. They are all better but he’s not brutally far off them.My prediction is Iowa will average 8-4 over the next 3 years and finish no better than 2nd in B1G West
My prediction is Iowa will average 8-4 over the next 3 odd numbered years and finish no better than 2nd in B1G West
My prediction is Iowa will average 8-4 over the next 3 even numbered years and finish no better than 2nd in B1G West
My prediction is Iowa will average 8-4 over the next 3 years if the pandemic persists and finish no better than 2nd in B1G West

All I said was that Iowa added another recruit , along with about every other recruit in this and recent classes, that support this.
I didn't say this was good or bad. Just saying KF is probably one of the most consistent coaches in recent CFB history along with Saban, Sweeney, Stoops, Fitzgerald - pretty select company.
I am not sure how much more consistently and clearly I can state my position.

Your math isn't adding upIf 40% of P5 schools play 1/3 less games, than the other 60%, then yeah. I don't think that will happen in BB where 60% of teams play 25 games, and 40% play 16 games.

To be fair to the Hawk fans, we heard a lot about how they wanted him fired over some low win totals less than 6 years ago.I was speaking just to predictability/consistency, I would agree with you that he is a step behind those on quality of program.
He likes cherry picking. Fits his narrative better. Are you going to reference "non pandemic years" for basketball as well?

It's just weird when Iowa is having their best season ever and only have 12 wins going into FebruaryHe likes cherry picking. Fits his narrative better.
Common, you are really going down this road again? Iowa has basically been a 70% winning team for 8 years now.
Are you joking around?
Um,
8-4 is 67%
They have averaged 8.4 wins over last years
They have 2,3,4 every year for last 8 years except 2012
Where do we disagree?
Kirk is still 100% a hater of African Americans. Easy math.If 40% of P5 schools play 1/3 less games, than the other 60%, then yeah. I don't think that will happen in BB where 60% of teams play 25 games, and 40% play 16 games.
hmm average of 8 wins a year since 2010.. and in the little 10 west even.

The last 8 seasons Iowa literally has a .680 win percentage. God forbid that's characterized as an 8-4 record (.667).
Iowa has played 13 games a year over the last 7 non pandemic years. Iowa has averaged 9 wins per year in that time. It is funny that ISU fans want to throw in a pandemic year where Iowa only played 8 games to drag that total win number down to 8 though.

what's Iowa's record vs those top 10 teams? or do you only live off the one OSU win still? From '15-'19 Iowa faced 16 Big10 teams that were ranked in the final AP top 25 poll. ISU faced 16 Big12 teams there were ranked in the final AP top 25 poll in that same time. Of those 16 ranked teams, Iowa faced 9 teams that finished in the top 10 in the AP poll, ISU faced 8 top 10 teams.
This idea that ISU has a tougher "round robin" schedule is just an ISU fantasy. The majority of respected SOS metric say Iowa has played a tougher SOS in 3 of the last 6 years, and ISU has had a tougher SOS in the other 3.
