Trying to compare today's game to the game even 20 years ago is impossible. The offensive stats now is like playing in the Steroids era in baseball. Middle infielders were cranking out 50 HR a year, kind of like crappy QB's today spit out 3000 yard years in wide open offenses.
Spencer Petras threw for 1,569 yards this year
Iowa doesn't run an offense that will just roll out 3000 yard passers. Even if you are an NFL QB in Iowa's system it is tough getting to 3000 yards.
You are at least close. An ISU Special Teams blunder would potentially turn it into a 21-20 Iowa victory.

ACTUALLY, I'm the one that said Iowa should go after Milton. Don't think Twins said much about it other than maybe it would be a big upgrade. Could be wrong though
I don't wanna look up the exact yards, but there was a good running game for sure, better than what Petras had this year.

I saw a big 247 guy has a CB for Iowa now with Myslinski. That would be huge and might push Sanders to Iowa.
