*** Official #25 Oregon vs #10 IOWA STATE Fiesta Bowl Game(Day) Thread ***

I actually don’t think he’d be a great HC. He knows what he’s good at and sticks to it. Have to love that about him in this day and age.

I don't think he's going anywhere but the possibility someone else could throw a bunch of money at him to be their DC is still out there. If I'm building the coaching staff at Auburn or Texas, he's the first name I'd want.

I mean, he’s 60. While that’s not old, it definitely would probably be a drawback for a school to give him his first FBS head coaching job.

And at his stage in life does he even want to make that jump to being a head coach? As people age, job-jumping for title/challenge/money becomes way less appealing, in any job.

Haha. Am I surprised? Not really. I had just never heard Matt with a good swear going, ever before. A little proud and excited? I think so and rightfully. I think it (the swearing part) is a little out of character for him though. I could be wrong.

Love me some CMC.

You must not be able to read his lips on the sidelines sometimes?

Just started watching the replay and it occurred to me that for as much hype as Kayvon Thibodeaux got coming in, I sure didn't hear his name called very often.

For those of you that wish to persist in this totally useless debate. I've told you no, I don't see him on the sidelines apparently swearing. OK? I live out of State and am lucky to see ISU on TV once in awhile. They've been on ABC often this year which has been great. The camera desn't follow him to watch him swear or whatever.

So I am being honest when I say I haven't seen him do it often. Can we drop it now?

I am not trying to be mean, sorry. I find your comment just a little too assuming is all.

How great was it to feel comfortable after about the first quarter? Sure, only up a score ...but we just kept at it and by second half we didn't need to do anything to raise our heart rates! Love it.

He seems loyal to Campbell. I can’t see him leaving for a lateral move regardless of money.
