BBBWWWWWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! eiu gets dropped FROM Nashville!

What happens if Iowa wins and ISU loses and Iowa finishes higher in the polls?
What happens when all the B1G teams cancel their games because thats what B1G does. Maybe B1G will manage to get OSUs playoff called off and magically declared the winner by changing their rules again to make it so. What a ****** conference.

Yes...the B1G has a history of canceling games prior to 2020. (Sarcasm) Might have something to do with a global pandemic. What a brain dead post.

So you're saying if a team just plays every game on its schedule, it shouldn't be arbitrarily punished in the last week by the committee adding a new rule dictating a certain amount of games is good and lesser amount of amount of games is bad.

If only we had an example of where that happened in the past and the committee proudly stood up for a team playing every game on its schedule rather than saying a team that played one extra game is more qualified because of a single extra game.

It's almost like at some point in the past they said having 7% less games is horrible, but now this year having 40% less games is FANTASTIC.

I'm kind of torn. It's somewhat of a lose-lose scenario. How good/bad is Oregon? Not sure anyone knows. If we win, great and all, but this is a team that played 5 scrimmages and was only in their conference championship because someone else had to back out. Yes, I know, they won. Their level of pathetic season is worse than what we make fun of Iowa for. So, if we lose, that's embarrassing in a way, and undermines everything we've done this year. Just f***ing win, please.

Do. Not. Like.

ISU players and coaches are here to compete. Let the B1G homers worry about lose-lose scenarios and garbage like that.

The only thing that grates me about the Fiesta is that this team will have to get a NY6 win without the support and acknowledgment of 40,000 ISU fans behind them.

The hoks will fire up their muddy, jacked up pickup trucks with the big yellow parakeet logo in the back window, light up a marlboro, pack the coolers and drive to Nashville, where they will cough in each other's faces, spreading the covid to everyone. It's a horrible thought, but once again, Darwin was right. Survival of the fittest. And the smartest. Enjoy your mayo, quick-lube, cheetos, music-land bowl, you greasy dooshbags. They should have declined the invite, now they are going to drop out of the top-25 when they get demolished. Go Tigers!
OUTSTANDING Remo Gaggi...ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING

Oh, cuz Iowa State canceled so many? and the Big 12, ACC, and SEC managed to play almost full schedules.
Did not allow teams to opt out of games, for sniffing covid, instead of having required numbers.
The B1G consistently had games canceled because they felt like cancelling instead of risking a loss, when 1 or 2 stars were out, rather than meeting a minimum number like the other conferences set. In the Big 12 if you had enough players, for the positions and totals set by the conference you had to play the game, or forfeit. In the B1G they could just decide they didnt want to play like several did, if their QB or someone was contact traced, and could not play. They did everything they could to avoid playing if they might take a loss. Lame.
Then went out of their way to change the rules multiple times to suit OSU, when they told other schools that the rules are the rules and could not be changed.
The B1G conference is a dumpster fire, full of crybabies, that want everyone to cater to them.

How many snaps have you seen Oregon play? I saw part of the Civil War and P12 Champ.

Saw some of game Friday night v. USC. Thought looked decent. Just a bizarre game overall with the records of the teams, the Washington situation. Just goes to show what can happen on any given day. Reason for the Playoff to be expanded.

I appreciate HFCS dogged determination on this subject. He is 100% right. What the committee does to enable Ohio State on a regular basis is embarrassing. If they don't put OSU in the first 2020 CFP poll without hardly playing, chances are the B1G does a better job managing to get games in and the whole situation is clearer for teams like Iowa and Indiana.

They really do deserve to have this thrown back in their face on every occasion until this godforsaken committee structure designed to run interference for certain teams outside of play on the field, is abandoned.

If you want to be angry, go and read Leisticow's article about Iowa's bowl game. Highlights include how much better of a bowl game Iowa deserved and how Indiana deserved a New Year's 6 ahead of us. He said Barta told the media that we had better quality wins in Oklahoma and Texas. Chad the genius said Indiana has quality wins in beating preseason #7 Penn State and Wisconsin and Michigan. Of course Chad the idiot doesn't seem to realize that Indiana's great wins against those 3 teams are pretty equivalent to our wins over TCU, West Virginia, and Kansas State.
I was going to say that this is the Best Post of the Year.....like HELL IT IS....
ITS THE BEST POST THIS CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's crazy how 90% of the fans and 99% of sports media are just cool with changing the rules week by week to do whatever helps Ohio State that particular year or week.

I mean it couldn't be more obvious.

The only thing I can think of is that the average person can't remember more than a few months back into reality?

There needs to be some sort of official statement on whether the # of games played matters or not. Right now the commitee's rules are 13 games good, 12 games bad, 6 games fantastic.
