BBBWWWWWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! eiu gets dropped FROM Nashville!

It is what it is, nice for ISU to get into a NY6 Bowl. Obviously wish it was ANY other year. Iowa has gotten to better bowls than I think they deserve many times, so its fair they come out on short end once in a while. Again, good year for that. Not good measuring stick opponents for either team. If I were Iowa I would have very little interest in playing that game,

Here are the head scratchers from the CFP in my opinion. (1) ND--gets waxed by Clemson Sat night and a few hours later is put in the playoff......why other than it is Notre Dame? (2) Indiana. They got hosed. Had 1 loss by a TD to the #3 team. If that is viewed as a "bad loss", why is OSU #3?

It almost seems like Gary Barta was so concerned about perceived bias that he overcompensated.

Indiana sucks by committee standards from previous years, they should be ranked around 15th-20th.

1. No quality wins.
2. Only seven tiny data points from a committee that previously said 12 data points aren't enough to know anything.
3. They were getting blown out by Ohio State and Ohio State got bored.

A team ranked #7 only playing half a season and no quality wins? What a joke. They're only #7 to help justify putting Ohio State at #3 with half the games other teams have.

OSU is in because they are OSU. Indiana isn't in a NY6 because they have a bunch of poor wins. OSU didn't stick up for them either, to get in the playoffs, the OSU coach said they had a big lead at half and just lost interest and let Indiana back in. Iowa, well, beat a team with a winning record or that is ranked for starters. Playing the sisters of the poor does not help the chances.

To be fair, that is the truth.

Well that's a really stupid take.

Iowa vs Indiana game was needed. That was another conference fail. Maybe it would have gotten cancelled anyway but it should have been scheduled.

Big 10 was not going to let that happen anyway

You only have yourself to blame. Also, how do you know? The big issues were non cons in season and potential spreading due to other teams not have the strict requirements. The Big ten office changed their mind so many times, it may very well have done it again.

FYI Mizzou will have multiple guys opting out (I know one has been announced) and Iowa will have at least one big name not playing
