Kevin Warren deserves to be fired with how he handled everything, and the bowl selections were a direct result of how the Big 10 handled their season. If Big 10 fans want to be mad, they should start there.

He had no choice but to listen to the presidents since the do trump the athletic departments. B1G fans can be as pissed at Waren as they want but this was what those schools signed up for.

Oregon is definitely beatable for you guys. I'd have rather seen you guys play USC just purely from an entertainment standpoint. I think it would have been a fun game to watch style wise. Who knows, maybe the Oregon game will be good too.

It is what it is, nice for ISU to get into a NY6 Bowl. Obviously wish it was ANY other year. Iowa has gotten to better bowls than I think they deserve many times, so its fair they come out on short end once in a while. Again, good year for that. Not good measuring stick opponents for either team. If I were Iowa I would have very little interest in playing that game,

Here are the head scratchers from the CFP in my opinion. (1) ND--gets waxed by Clemson Sat night and a few hours later is put in the playoff......why other than it is Notre Dame? (2) Indiana. They got hosed. Had 1 loss by a TD to the #3 team. If that is viewed as a "bad loss", why is OSU #3?

It almost seems like Gary Barta was so concerned about perceived bias that he overcompensated.

Now do Indiana's big wins. It's not as simple as W's and L's and you know that.

Blum is spot on here. The Big10 overall got shafted, but it was the university Presidents that shafted than. OSU didn’t deserve a playoff spot, and should have been left out IMO. Indiana in no way shape or form deserved a NY6 game, and them crying about Big10 conspiracies is hilarious.

It's really hard to say since Oregon is 4-2. Who knows how good they would have been. One for sure that is worse is 2012 NIU. They lost to a crappy 4-8 Iowa team and got manhandled in their bowl. There's been plenty of crappy frauds that have been in.

Iowa is -13.5 and I don't disagree. They should win comfortably against yet another (mostly) hapless opponent. Iowa 38 Mizzou 14 and we get to listen to all these Iowa fans b****ing about their bowl slot turn cheek and boast about how awesome and dominant their football team is and how they should've been in a better bowl than us.
