BBBWWWWWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! eiu gets dropped FROM Nashville!

It will affirm Colin Cowherds opinion that Iowa is the fake ID of college football. Just be good enough to beat all teams with a losing record.

Don't forget the Hawks started the season with a loss to win Purdue. That is light year worse than losing to a top 20 team.

It is amusing to go over to HR and see their reasoning behind why they got screwed and ISU should not have made a NY6 bowl. Lets see EIU had a higher winning percentage, even though they played 3 fewer games. ISU was destroyed by Louisiana, which ended up 9-1 and ranked 19th in the final poll, while they lost to 2-4 Purdue. Barta favored instate rival more than EIU and the rest of the BIG10, even though he would have had to recuse himself every time EIU was discussed.
ISU played 4 teams ranked in the final poll beating 2 of them, while EIU played one and lost.

Jealousy is a difficult emotion, and way to many EIU fans still think that its 10 years ago and they long for days when ISU is just an afterthought, in the college football landscape.

EIU the FAKE ID of college football.

LOL, this is why the coaches poll is never taken seriously. These coaches should have no business being able to rank their own team let alone the others.

It's one vote out of many.

Compare that to the Big Ten playoff committee that always gets 3 to 5 biased votes out of 13.

The small biased committee is the most biased poll we've ever had by light years.

They might as well rename it "Change the Rules Every Year to Help Ohio State Committee"

A few years ago 12 games disqualified and 13 games were required. This year 6 games is fantastic and playing 11 games is meaningless (almost twice as many).

When they said 13 games instead of 12 was all important...that would completely disqualify the entire Big Ten and Pac 12 this year if they had the smallest ounce of moral integrity.

The Big12 coaches gave the Cyclones their due, as expected. Except for the ******* at K-State. He thinks Indiana is better than the team he watched pummel his purple kittens.

I guess fighting surly's think they are 60 points worse than mighty Indiana.

It is what it is, nice for ISU to get into a NY6 Bowl. Obviously wish it was ANY other year. Iowa has gotten to better bowls than I think they deserve many times, so its fair they come out on short end once in a while. Again, good year for that. Not good measuring stick opponents for either team. If I were Iowa I would have very little interest in playing that game,

Here are the head scratchers from the CFP in my opinion. (1) ND--gets waxed by Clemson Sat night and a few hours later is put in the playoff......why other than it is Notre Dame? (2) Indiana. They got hosed. Had 1 loss by a TD to the #3 team. If that is viewed as a "bad loss", why is OSU #3?

It almost seems like Gary Barta was so concerned about perceived bias that he overcompensated.

OSU is in because they are OSU. Indiana isn't in a NY6 because they have a bunch of poor wins. OSU didn't stick up for them either, to get in the playoffs, the OSU coach said they had a big lead at half and just lost interest and let Indiana back in. Iowa, well, beat a team with a winning record or that is ranked for starters. Playing the sisters of the poor does not help the chances.

Indiana did not get hosed they didn't beat anyone
