I lurked over at some Hawkeye message boards (don’t worry I showered after I left) to see their reactions on our bowl (boy are we on their mind) and the reaction to their bowl.
To say they are triggered is an understatement. Basically saying Barta is the reason we got the Fiesta, they were more deserving than us, and how the Big 12 influenced the decision.
Essentially they are more upset we are in the Fiesta Bowl than they are in the Music City Bowl. You can’t make this up.

They never think about there were two conferences that tried to stop the season and those two only got a team each.

Not sure why but I went and checked out HR. That was stupid of me. Just a bunch of political ****, isu hatred, and dogging their ad for something he was correct about. Oh and another thing those inbred cockgobbolers are delusional thinking they'd have kicked our butts. WI went to sh!t after they had their whole covid mess. Indiana and Iowa both caught them at a great time.
My youngest is 13, I don't want to explain why the underbelly of civilization does what it does when he encounters hawkeye fans in their usually position with sheep and goats. Besides, I don't want to see it myself. Let them knuckledrag in a town we are not in. No surprise that towns complain about hawkeye fans once they've been there. They get drunk and ransack places, break stuff, take off without paying their food/drink bills. It's a consistent theme in their wake.
Even though the Liberty Bowl is an older, more prestigious game, I'd like to see the Big 12 in the Music City if we're going to have a mid-tier game in Tennessee. Memphis is cool, but Nashville full of Cyclone fans would be ridiculous.
