I don't know much about the Big Ten so I'm just curious. Parsons was a shoe in for it until he opted out.

The fact the best offense you've seen is #60 in scoring and you face another offense in the 100s this week helps him for sure.

Just giving you a hard time like you would Hawk fans with similar logic. Those awards are impossible to decide since no one can watch every game. Same for the polls for the most part. But it is what it is.

I didn't think Scherff should have won the Outland Trophy. Scherff was really good that year, but Wirfs I thought was way better than him last year and Wirfs didn't win the Outland. I also thought Duncan got robbed last year. I figured Duncan was a shoe in for the award.

Scherff won the Outland because he was the best lineman that year. He was the first one off the board in the draft too.

I mainly watch the Hawks and then watch snippets of other games, so you could be right. I do think Wirfs played at a higher level last year than Scherff did. If Wirfs was LT he probably would have won.

Wirfs wasn’t going to beat Sewell from Oregon. Sewell is the best CFB offensive lineman I’ve ever seen.

How is illinois' run defense? I would say 30-10 Iowa unless they have a good run defense then it could be closer. I wouldn't want to have to lean on Petras winning the game if I was a hawk.

89th in the country at 189 ypg. For comparison 0-8 Vanderbilt is 85th at 185 ypg

Really? Cause they put the LB from Alabama on there whos stats are:
Total tackles -57
Solo - 42
Ast - 15
Sacks - 2
FF - 0
FR - 0
INT - 0

MEANWHILE, Roses stats are:
Total tackles - 76
Solo - 43
Ast - 33
Sacks - 1.5
FF - 0
FR - 0
INT - 4

But yes, please tell us how the "experts" got that one right and didn't just put him on cause hes from Bama
