All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

One of the best in the country

He has been playing amazing this year. I wish he would come back next year, but I don't think he will. His stock is really high right now after that 75 yard pick 6. Don't normally see DTs do stuff like that. He is the best defensive player in the state.

Also just remembered all the chest-thumping over Iowa defenders getting a bunch of INTs. It is no secret that B1G QBs suck balls. I just looked at INTs thrown by B1G QBs and they are way more than B12 QBs, with less pass attempts and less games.

B1G
72 games, 2,373 attempts, 74 INTs (average 5.14 games played per team)

B12
84 games, 2,669 attempts, 66 INTs (average 8.4 games played per team)

If you update those INT numbers for the B1G teams to the same number of games played by the B12, you would end up with 121 INTs! Basically, if you're a defender standing anywhere on the field of a B1G game, chances are you'll get a ball thrown right into your hands.

Big 10 has really good secondaries.

Weird, I didn't know winning by 1 point on a horrible special teams play by ISU equated to being way better. Now I know!
Wait so the head to head matters now? Twins said it didn’t matter for 2017 because apparently ISU was better than Iowa that year.

Yeah, that's why the big ten teams give up so many points. If you guys had even servicable Qbs nearly every game would be like the Indy/OSU game. Its crappy QB play in a defense optional league that has kept the scores in the 30s and 40s
