Most of our recruiting this cycle was done in the spring of 2020 (8 of our 16 commits verballed from 3/17 through 5/18) . Its not abnormal for Iowa to not get verbals during Sept/Oct/Nov each year. We still have 3-5 spots to fill and have missed on some kids but thats recruiting.

What are you talking about? Numerous people, myself included think Iowa will beat UNC.

I expect more from someone that claims to have no bias and has such a great basketball mind that he wanted Prohm to keep recruiting Lard types over Garza types.

Some ISU fans just couldnt handle seeing Iowa mentioned as a top 5-10 team all offseason.

It's been posted here that Iowa was going to be an Elite 8 team this March. So I anticipate that's worst case next year.

Not Sweet 16 but if they dont get to a Final Four or if they have a bad Elite 8 loss it's a failure.

Totally agree. If Garza comes back and the most everyone back stays healthy, anything less than an Elite is a disappointment, because of the 5-10 rating.

I'm literally saying Iowa is good. I think they'll beat North Carolina and should have a nice March run.

I legit zero trolling wouldn't know what to pick with an O/U of a Sweet 16 for Iowa, if you were to say what is more likely, and E8 or only one win and into round of 32.
Iowa has upperclassmen that have been together a while. I think experience and cohesiveness will be huge this year.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't think Iowa basketball is a top five team right now. I think they are a solid top 20 team and there isn't anything wrong with that.

When I think of ISU basketball the last couple years, soft is the word that comes to mind.
