Kstate Baylor

Again, is there anything on that list with the exception of Texas losing to Kansas that seems unlikely? No, there is not. We could easily lose to West Virginia. Oklahoma ain't losing. Neither is OSU.

It comes down to Texas. Kansas State can beat Texas and then Texas won't play Kansas.

Our best chance to seal the deal was today.

Texas losing to Kansas State looks unlikely. I mean, look at how bad KSU has been.

That doesnt mean it cant happen, but its just as likely other things happen that help us, like OU or OSU losing.

Honestly, the best thing that could happen to us (outside of something that would absolutely clinch it) might be getting that KSU/Texas game cancelled. Then we'd be in if Texas/Kansas is also cancelled.

I fully expected the Texas players to give up. I guarantee they’ve given up their bubble after yesterday

Must be the 108 year thing! It took the Cubs that long to end their World Series drought and 108 years for Iowa State in this spot and this close for playing for a conference championship.

I mean what will Texas have to play for? Kansas State will get those dumb linebackers back.

TCU can definitely beat OSU. With or without Hubbard. Quit claiming OSU is guaranteed that.

So we’re melting down cause we think Texas players are partying after a loss and will all get covid and their remaining games won’t happen? JFC.

Its even worse than that. For the bad result to happen, texas would need to go out, lose to KSU, and then get so bad with covid that they can't play Kansas.

There’s only one remote scenario in which OU wins its final two games and doesn’t get a spot in Arlington: Oklahoma State wins out (vs. Texas Tech, at TCU, at Baylor), Kansas State wins out (at Baylor, vs. Texas) and Iowa State loses its finale (against West Virginia) next week in Ames.

Massingham screwed up as usual.

Would have preferred to play OSU over OU for the big 12 championship.

At this point, I'd just like to play in it ;)

Since you put it that way,

A. It’s very unlikely we lose to WVu

B. It’s extremely unlikely UT gets a bunch of COVID cases. If it were Baylor, I might worry about it...but probably not.

I’m not bothering with the rest of the unlikelihoods.

Yeah, those IT nerds don’t get out much. Should be low Covid risk.
