Kstate Baylor

As long as there's a .000001% chance we don't make the championship game.... I'm nervous as can be. I've been a Cyclone fan for 50 years..... I take nothing for granted after all the kicks to the groin.

Doesn't even matter. We're gonna skullf*** the couch burning trash bags next weekend. Wanna be the top dog? Leave a trail of bodies in your wake.

I get it, we are Iowa State fans and have gotten kicked in the nuts often. But what you're saying is pretty unwarranted in terms of Iowa State losing to WVU as 'fairly possible'.

We all celebrated like we won the damn thing this week. The players also did. Our best defensive player is playing hurt. It's not an unimaginable thing if the Iowa State players come out extremely flat against a good team that has 3 weeks off. And none of us could blame them.

Actually I keep forgetting that OSU has looked pretty marginal lately. TCU might be finding some things.

Oklahoma State has looked bad, but Chuba hasn't been playing. I wonder if he will be back next week.

Can someone explain why a Kansas State win would have clinched for us?

Short version:

ISU is in unless there's a 3-way tie situation (which only happens if ISU loses to WVU and OU\OSU win out) in which the tie is broken by record against #4 and that #4 is WVU.

KSU winning would have eliminated those scenarios.

Frankly, that seems fairly possible. OU and OSU aren't losing next week. Texas is a ****** team who has nothing to play for and stupid Kansas State will have those stupid linebackers back next week. And if Texas loses to Kansas State, there's no way they play Kansas.
Take a deep, cleansing breath. Put down the nut cup. Walk away from it. You don’t need it any longer.

Good question. It all comes down to the odds of Texas/Kansas being cancelled, because there's no way Texas loses that game if it's played.

Texas' players were all probably at the bars in Austin last night and tonight partying it up now that they have nothing to play for..... they'll likely get Covid at this point.

Just heard this stat: Baylor's win snapped a 21-game losing streak when trailing by double digits at halftime.

Of course it did.
