I think DeJean will struggle to get up to speed with Big Ten competition though.
Cooper DeJean is a hell of an athlete....especially for a 1A school. I watched him play the state semi-final game this season. Iowa is recruiting him for the wrong spot....he is not a D1 safety at this point (not saying he won’t be in a couple years in their program) In my opinion he should be playing slot receiver at Iowa.
Now if he wanted to drop down a level...he could definitely play QB if he wanted

The Big10 West is the best conference in college football by a large margin, and the Big12 is behind the ACC Coastal and Pac12 North.
I said it before the year started that I wished Iowa played in an easy conference like the Big12, and it looks like it is playing out that way. This really isn't even debatable as I'm sure this site would never question the Sagarin rating as it is the go to Gold standard here.

In 2017, you somehow blew the doors off tOSU yet Ohio State beat MSU, Wisconsin, AND Penn State. All teams you lost to. So why should you have lost to those teams?
Remember when all these Iowa fans said the number 1 TE recruit in the country was scared off by their super loaded TE room? Through 5 games that room has 254 yards and 0 TDs. So loaded.
It's pretty tough to justify any of the BIG SOS given you don't play any games against anyone outside of the BIG...obviously we will see if there truth to the numbers through the bowl games. It's just a guessing game right now.

No, Goodson has been good, but Hall has been on another level for sure. You really can't blame me for not believing your predictions though on players. Goodson has been bad? 5 games, 6 TD's and averaging 5.5 YPC and 90 YPG rushing is bad now? So you think Hall was bad last year when he scored 9 TD's in 12 games, averaged 5.0 YPC and 75 YPG rushing?
@CyTwins do you still think this about Nixon? Nixon has 28 tackles with 8.5 of them for a loss in 5 games. That is pretty good production, wouldn't you say? I think his draft stock is gonna be pretty good this year, probably the top DL selected from the state in the draft.
He's rated as one of the worst RBs in all of CFB. Sargent (who isn't good) is much better
