Yeah Iowa and ISU both got Mac level recruits at QB this year, disappointing to say the least.

Petras will be good for Iowa, will probably make it 5 of the last 6 Iowa starting QB to be drafted into the NFL.

I mean let’s not get crazy. ISU’s guy is an non Clemson ACC level recruit....so basically MAC level.

How is Wright a MAC level recruit when NC State wants him?

Petras will be good for Iowa, will probably make it 5 of the last 6 Iowa starting QB to be drafted into the NFL.

He couldn't beat out Stanley who was an average at best CFB QB and was going to Oregon State until Iowa flipped him. Why do you think he'll be good?

Stanley was a NFL draft pick, tough to beat those guys out. Heck even a 3rd rd. pick like CJ took a few years to overtake a 5th round pick Ruddock. Petras will be just fine.
