I can probably guarantee that everyone I know around here has never heard of it. Its no surprise though, some folks in Wisconsin thought I was crazy when I talked about Beer cheese soup.
Corn casserole, which is basically corn, creamed corn, corn bread, and sour cream all mixed together and baked. It's amazing.

Sage dressing, of course green been casserole, mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry salad, and pumpkin pie, the favorite part of the meal.

When that Thanksgiving finally came, with all the boring talk about health and surgeries and gossip about the relatives that weren't there, it took me about ten minutes to long for the kid's table again...

There's a restaurant in Des Moines that has a beer cheese pasta. I can't recall which one off the top of my head, but I remember it being really good.

I tried just eating normal helpings on Thanksgiving once. It didn't feel right. If I'm not stuffed, it doesn't "feel" like Thanksgiving.
