Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Let the hype EIU hype train begin with a 13 man rotation = better defense.

@DavidEickholt Fran says you can expect Iowa to play better defense this season.

@DavidEickholt Fran says that having a deep bench will help with defense heading into next year. Also believes that Iowa's length will cause some problems on the perimeter.
The more "options" Fran has, the better it is for opposing teams.

Both classes are filled primarily with guys that other P5/P6 programs didn’t want. Both classes will end up towards the bottom of their respective conferences. Both coaches are good at identifying under-recruited players and developing them into players that play above their recruiting pedigree.

I’m not sure you could find a more similar comparison.

71% of Iowa State’s class has zero or one other P5 offer. 80% of Iowa’s class has zero or one other P6 offer (although I have sources who have said Ulis picked up multiple P5 offers after committing, I am only counting reported offers for this exercise). Iowa State’s class is much more similar than you would like to think.
I don't know how many times I have to say this, that doesn't exist. It's P5. I know you would love to add some more teams to try and help your narrative, but it doesn't work that way

Strong agree, I was wondering Fran may have figured that out after injuries last year limited the available bodies he could deploy., and they had some team success. Not the case.

Was it really any better than their normal "good" year?

This is why Iowa will be a bubble team this upcoming year
Disagree. I'm seeing nothing but a championship.
