Both classes are filled primarily with guys that other P5/P6 programs didn’t want. Both classes will end up towards the bottom of their respective conferences. Both coaches are good at identifying under-recruited players and developing them into players that play above their recruiting pedigree.

This is hilariously inaccurate. ISU’s football class has 5 guys with no other P5 options out of 14 to Iowa’s 3 out of 5. ISU’s class averages 2.2 P5 offers per commit to Iowa’s .4. All that with an additional conference worth of schools to offer. There isn’t an comparison to Iowa basketball’s epically embarrassing class.
