Iowa Football Recruiting

JFC, how effing idiotic are you? You can't take the **** of KF out of your lips for one second and realize the truth. You just want to believe SO HARD that he didn't do anything. Or that Doyle was just "ignorant". If he was just "ignorant" and was equally as hard on white players, then where are all the white players standing up and claiming all the terrible things he did?! My God. Delete your account. People with as little lack of intelligence as you need not to have a platform or space to spew such stupid comments
What is the truth genius? Those are all legitimate questions that will hopefully be answered in time. You just want to believe SO HARD that he did everything wrong.

What's the difference?

Plus, you probably don't know the answers to most of those questions.
If you are ignorant to something you can learn and change more easily I would think. It's really a lack of awareness. If he were racist I would think he would treat all black athletes poorly and unfairly which isn't the case.

I don't know the answers to those questions, but I hope someday we do.

It’s still a huge difference. A person of authority telling a young black male to go back to the ghetto gets attention real quick.

I agree, but that wasn't his school and if it is associated with the ghetto then it's not much different since it wasn't his school.

Brian could answer some questions for you but when or if he ever speaks it'll be the company line.

Getting close to the much anticipated announcement date for Ricky Parks. Stud RB out of Tampa and good friends with recent Iowa (re)commit Oladokun.

Offers include: Penn State, Florida State, Utah, Pitt, WVU, Louisville, Illinois, Kentucky, Purdue, Virginia, South Carolina.

Stiff competition, but I think Iowa has a good chance. What is the feeling over here?
Thanks for posting in the correct thread! Would be a monster get. SEC schools, Florida State and Penn State. You're correct, stiff competition! '21 Class is going to be amazing.

The truth that everyone knows, although Kirk denies, is that Kirk knew that there were problems within his coaching staff by multiple members and failed to hold them accountable. This is not just the racism allegations, it's multi-faceted. Is that enough to get him fired? Well if he denies it like he has, no, which is why him and the program are currently being investigated.

After the investigation is over, and the information is presented to the University of Iowa, they will then make their decisions on the future employment of the staff.

Where it gets interesting is that all of the information the investigation finds is likely going to be made public. So the University of Iowa is going to be heavily watched in how they handle this.

My question would be: Why didn’t he just quote Doyle correctly the first time like he did later on when he got the interview with ESPN? His original quote was probably what got him a follow up interview with ESPN. To be fair Iowa did let Doyle go( a big part of the program). This is why most reasonable people would want an investigation before firing coaches.

What I find funny on this site is that I have a feeling that a majority (not all) of cyclone fans pretend to actually care that these african americans felt that there was a racist culture. Stop pretending you give a damn about their feelings because i'm sure all you want is for the "hoks", the "toe" or 'kirkkks" team to have a negative light shed against them so you can feel better about your own team.

I would say Parks comes to Iowa. He’s 7of7 over on 247 and he has a Highschool friend coming here. Makes a good amount of sense

This is the most pathetic post in a long time

Cause you guys are not being impartial. You guys want the destruction of the Iowa program for the benefit of ISU. This is nothing more then wishful thinking. I feel that you guys need to listen and respect the opinions of the players and their parents on how to remedy and move forward. Is that so much to ask? You guys are using the players as pawns to achieve your ulterior motives.
No. I want a law firm like Williams Connolly or some other firm. Iowa will succeed or fail on the outcome of an in-depth impartial investigation. Are you familiar with Stockholm Syndrome? That is why the players input is valuable yet not totally credible.

Most Iowa State fans actually feel pretty good about the current state of the Cyclone Football program.. If anything this situation just makes us even more proud to not be associated with University of Iowa. Don't get mad at Iowa State fans or other fan bases for not having your backs during a moment like this, especially with the crap you just spewed out in the post above.

There are a lot of scumbags on both side of it actually. Plenty of Hawk fans don't want any of it to be true so it doesn't hurt the team. Plenty of cyclone fans want it to be worse than it is so that it hurts the team. It really shows on the Iowa fan side when we try to spin it into a good thing. It really shows on the Iowa State fan side when they bring it up in every conversation.

The firm Iowa hired IS a “legit impartial law firm” and is NOT a “defense law firm.” Its pretty obvious that you know literally nothing about how law firms work. The investigation is being conducted by two impartial lawyers - one of whom is black - that have decades of experience conducting similar investigations.
Literally impossible to take you seriously. You act like you know how law firms are ranked and you are so full of **** it is comical. In fact your assessment of how law firms are ranked was a topic with two of my lawyer buddies over cocktails. Get back to blowing kirk.

I honestly had no clue his last name was misspelled lol. Looking at that roster list, he looks like he'd be a pretty good get.. I do have a question for those that follow recruiting more than I do. When you look at that list you see a bunch of schools that have 9 or less guys on their roster at that position, however Iowa's shows 14 RB's on the roster. Is that a typo or does Iowa actually have 14 RB's?
I'm guessing the 14 RBs includes fullbacks and non-scholarship guys? Otherwise that can't be right.

You have the three main guys:

Goodson
IKM
Sargent

Then I can think of:

G. Williams: Michigan, ISU, Nebraska offers
S. Byrd: Louisville, UNC, Duke, Vandy, Wake
L. Williams: KSU
Luckett is a walk-on I believe.

So a few guys, mostly lower classman. Some good offers, nobody that someone with Parks offer list shouldn't be able to compete with.

Yeah that's likely the case, in which full backs and non-scholly guys are counted, because 14 is wayyy too much.

But yeah this guy looks like he could compete for playing time right away. Saw he's warmer to Iowa and Utah.. Utah could be the team to beat considering Zach Moss left and their RB room is completely wide open at the moment.

Yeah, Utah scares me. I know next to nothing about their roster but after a quick look they appear to have brought in some talented guys at RB over the last few classes.
