I would guess about $30-40,000 per week for investigation cost. Now the real cost comes in hush money or separation fees.
KF will keep his job unless there is proof that he lied about parents contacting him. This a huge black eye for Iowa but so far it looks like they will be ok. The encouraging thing to me is that black players aren't abandoning the team. If the culture was unrepairable players would be transferring. I do understand why some fans want Iowa to implode and even the comparisons to PSU and MSU.
Based off some of the claims, an open records request is probably going to expose that.
I'll give you a better one. If a principal runs a school that is racially biased in its' ways and allowed his teachers to use racially insensitive language to African American students, do you
1.) believe the principal should be fired?
2.) think the principal should be allowed to fix his school's culture because he says he's sorry and had a blind spot?
3.) think that the students should be the ones who decide whether or not that principal should get to come back and fix the school's culture?
You are, most likely intentionally, leaving out the fact that the overwhelming majority of former players that have spoken out have not said blamed KF for any of this. They have also said they believe he can make the needed changes.
No current players or family members of current players have called for KF to be fired. Its their (former and current players) program, they probably know more than you or I what is best for it.
I get you and a bunch of other ISU fans want KF gone but I would bet most of it has very little to do with the last 2 weeks and more to do with wanting to see the Iowa football program go down the tubes and give the ISU football program a leg up.
Kirk is being investigated due to him admitting he did not once receive information that there were any racial issues within his program.. 60+ players have said otherwise and after this investigation we'll find out whether there is proof Kirk didn't know. Because if he did (he did), he should probably be held accountable in some way. In my opinion, he should be fired. Art Briles was well liked too by his players and yet..
Wadley's mom should just release the texts or emails she has then.
Also, I dont think we will need to wait until the investigation is concluded to know if KF was alerted of any of this. Unless the FOIA requests are being held up due to the ongoing investigation.

I'm sure that Wadley's mom's lawyer, Robert T Green, has the emails and texts now. I would imagine that he plans to release them at the appropriate time when they would do the most damage. Also, she would probably include them in her book when it gets published.
Is it weird that Bruce Kittle's comments never get brought up by these guys? It's always these two. Wonder why?
