Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

We sure arent Nebraska thats for sure ....where Winning is a Way of Life. until they fired Frankie Solich and the roof fell in on em, My prediction is that the Huskers will never win a Big Ten Championship and still sell out every game in Memorial Stadium.....Now hold me to said prediction....If you want to tell me about their championship you will have to dig me up from the ground about 70 miles east of Lincoln NE

Possibly. Some people are stuck in their ways and will never change. Twitter is a great thing where people's voices can be heard, but it's terrible in the fact that it gives a platform to idiots like that guy. I applaud J-Bo for calling him out though.

Also, the tone may also be decided in the coming investigation, as some of the coach's fates will too. Say Brian is found to have been racially insensitive to players and had other inappropriate behaviors and then is let go or fired. How is Kirk going to handle that? I presume not very well. And what if they find Kirk actually did know about a lot of these instances and allowed them to occur and is forced to resign or is let go? I cannot imagine these folks that hold these opinions are going to be okay with that. It could get very very ugly.

I meant the tone on this board about Bohannon is likely to change in a few months, if not sooner.
 
So to summarize what we got from Iowa’s leadership about this situation:

Kirk Ferentz- I am the leader of this program and I accept full responsibility....so I am firing someone else.

Gary Barta- We took a look at discrimination within our athletic department in 2017, then did absolutely nothing about it. Also Kirk Ferentz can’t be racist because he donates to hospitals.

Ahh I gotcha. I'm sure that people's opinions have already changed. I know mine have. I'll hate Jordan on the court as a Hawkeye but by golly he seems to have some pretty good morals.
 
I wonder what is quietly going on behind the scenes in regards to parents and players negatively affected by this staff. This might be the quiet before the storm. I for one, hope so.

Some parents of former players have organized and havent really been quiet.

All of the parents of current players that have spoken out have been very supportive.
