This is interesting then, because Barta stated they believed they were able to move on from Doyle prior to the findings of the independent investigation.. So, there had to have been enough information for Iowa to prove there was cause to let go of Doyle right? Well, Doyle would've have to had gotten fired for that and if he would've gotten fired, he would've brought Iowa to court where Iowa would've had to pay more in legal fees, as well as given Doyle an opportunity to speak up about everything, which Iowa definitely did not want him to do.
So with that being said, Iowa's best case scenario for this was exactly what they ended up doing.
