Holy sh** you sound like Kirk Ferentz.I don’t really remember the specifics of that particular case. I’d have to review the details.

My question is that if they have enough at this point to part ways with Doyle how the eff is Kirk not in some hot water? Why is he getting a pass? FFS this is HIS program and he gets to play the "I didn't know this was going on" card. Come on.
So he really wasn’t even fired. If you’re fired, you get nothing.
He was just paid to walk away and keep his mouth shut.
Which also admits total guilt too btw. Iowa knew they couldn’t fire him because he would sue and would sing like a bird and destroy both BF and KF.
There’s no way Iowa was going to allow that to happen.
Barta is used to paying out large sums of hush money by now. It’s what he does best! He should resign this afternoon, but I hope he doesn’t. He’s the gift that keeps on giving!
Right back at ya, sport.
Husch Blackwell?
You can't make this stuff up.
Uh, no duh. If Iowa had tried firing Doyle for cause before the investigation concluded, Doyle would have sued them for wrongful termination. It would have been an expensive, drawn out, and heavily publicized trial. If Iowa had waited for the investigation to conclude, Iowa State fans and people like Dan Woken would have thrown hissy fits that Doyle wasn’t fired yet. It was the only option.

Link?
Maybe Iowa State’s strength coach can take some pointers from Doyle on how to put muscle on a QB.
Doyle is one of the best in the business.
No wonder Doyle gets paid so much, he’s got a lot on his plate.
