Twins, the program has already changed. Doyle's right hand man is going to receive an award from Kirk next spring for "least racist coach on the team".So the new strength coach is Doyle's right hand man? That seems...bold
Yes, people are this stupid. The Iowa, Kirk Ferentz playbook:
- Satterfield/Everson sexual assault - Kirk does pretty much what someone would do to make a case go away while retaining some plausible deniability (talk to the victim but say you CAN go to the police, have other players move into the crime scene room right away, as if they are going to NOT clean up considering what they testified they found in the room). It gets spun into a player behavior problem, Kirk gives the clear strawman "I'm not perfect but how dare people attack my character" statement.
- Racism accusations - Tons of people come forward, including some explicit statements saying Kirk clearly was aware, and in some accusations played some role. Since most players are not explicitly saying "Kirk should be fired," people are translating this as overwhelming support for Kirk to be the guy to fix this by even players making accusations. This will now be spun into a Doyle problem. Kirk keeps playing dumb like he had no idea despite the many accusations that he was fully aware, and give the same old "I didn't do anything wrong or know anything, and I shouldn't be punished, but I'm taking responsibility because the buck stops with me."
It's unreal. In both of these cases it is clear he was not some clueless guy that was oblivious to what was happening under his watch.
Are people this stupid? In these cases Kirk gets to keep denying any wrongdoing, any knowledge of wrongdoing, be incredulous that people would question his character, suggest he should receive no punishment, yet claim he's taking responsibility with the old, ultimately I'm responsible for things that happen in the program. And morons in this state buy that as "taking responsibility."
He should really look at getting on that extra 600 a week unemployment benefits before it runs out.$1.1 Million and benefits for 15 months. What a ******* world.
Hey @Brodie0 you were one of those stupid people I was referring to.Yes, people are this stupid.
It's not a punishment.What a punishment for being a ******* and a racist![]()
I know I was being sarcastic. Only in these types of professions can someone have this much evidence against them and get off with a good severance package. We hold fast food workers to a higher standard. It's not a punishment.
Totally agree. Intended for a douche bag human and racist apologists like you.irregardless of the situation in Iowa City that is a real d'bag post
Easily the best part of the whole situationHusch Blackwell?
You can't make this stuff up.
Right back at ya, sport.
