He actually took full responsibility for the entire situation, and said that as head coach everything falls back onto him. Are there actually people on this website who are saying he refused to admit he made a mistake? Because that would be a pretty stupid conclusion to draw from that presser.
No, he didn't at all. He pulled the same **** he always does and your stupid fanbase and the worthless sports media eat this garbage up. It's the old, "I didn't do anything wrong or know anything, but ultimately as the leader of the program, the buck stops with me."
It's the nutless dodging of responsibility veiled in fake accountability that only a true moron actually buys. It's the cousin of the "I'm sorry that people were offended" non-apology.
I mean FFS, do people actually expect him to come out and say "It's not my fault, not sure why your asking me about this?" Because that would've been the only way he would've taken LESS actual responsibility.
Whether it's getting a hell of lot further down the road to criminal action than Art Briles ever did on sexual assault cases, the one-time Rhabdo award, or this, it's all the same.
Pretty clear actions by KF that he was involved, aware, and had the back of people heavily involved. Yet the same "taking responsibility" by claiming he didn't do anything, know anything, and shouldn't have any repercussions. Guess what, when you actually don't admit to doing anything wrong and push to have no consequences, that is NOTHING CLOSE to taking actual responsibility.
