You completely missed the point of my post, where I said that DJK's stories before all of this sounded like DJK was a lunatic, but because of all the new information out there, maybe his stories should be listened to. You saying his teammates called him out in the past does not matter when there are teammates now who are standing behind him.
Except a number of his teammates said he was lying when he tried to reveal these stories 7 years ago. DJK’s story detracts from the other players who came forward with their stories of racial inequality.
True. Why do we care anyway? I hate Iowa but they can do what they want with their coaches if the players are given a voice. I'll leave it in their hands. You guys can argue for hours straight with a couple of hawk fans, but I have a life.Let me also say for all of the people who want or expect certain members of the Iowa staff fired, the players brought this up. They are the ones filing the complaints. They are the ones who really have the inside story on everything. And from the sounds of it, Daniels is leading the group of former players with nothing to lose who will evaluate, discuss, and make recommendations.
Like it or not IMO the program belongs to the players and former players. If they come out and decide to not recommend canning anybody, regardless of our personal feelings I think we should support whatever decision they come to.
Either he is adopted, one of his parents remarried, or you are full of it (or maybe more than one of those).Vandevelde has one black parent, dude. He’s black. Not a good look for you.
When rules are in place that specifically target one race of the team, that's a problem too. Get out of here with the comments that the rules are in place for everyone. When two individuals get cited for the same type of criminal offense and their race is different and their treatment is decidedly different. That is literally the definition of disparate treatment.
Well said. I don't think the hok trolls are smart enough to take your advice though.Hawk trolls, please just stop. You don't need to defend the Iowa program on a rival's message board. This is a fight you will never win. It's also a fight you don't want to win even if you could.
Public perception of your program is not impacted whatsoever by what is said on a rival's message board of all places. It is impacted a great deal by what current and former players are saying....
Either he is adopted, or you are full of it (or maybe both).
Parents are on the second picture in the series in this link:

Or Julian's mom isn't married to Julian's dad. The man pictured could be his step dad.

But he didn't go to Glenville, he went to St. Edward's so saying Glenville (an inner city school) is implying that he is from the ghetto.False. I have been clear that Doyle and any other coach with a pattern of racist comments needs to be fired. But Morrow’s tweet claimed that Ferentz suspended him after Doyle told him to go back to the ghetto. Turns out, that didn’t actually happen. Morrow complained to Ferentz because Doyle told him he would “send his ass back to Glenville.” How does that implicate Ferentz? Ferentz says he can’t recall any player complaining to him about Doyle’s use of sending a player back to the “streets” or back to the “ghetto” - THATS BECAUSE IT NEVER HAPPENED.
Does it really matter? Doesn't he say in his statement he identified as white? Doesn't the discussion end there?Or Julian's mom isn't married to Julian's dad. The man pictured could be his step dad.
