Barta is a clueless coward.
I don't think Barta is a coward. He just has zero real authority. And probably not a lot of talent/ability to contribute anyway.

It will be interesting when it comes full circle and people start to remember the leader of their long time football coach who just came out Sunday trying to get in front of everything, in front of national and local media, looked at the camera and chose to confirm he can't ever recall any players or players parents ever talking to him about ANY racial issues during his entire 21 program tenure.
I think the way KF chose to come out like that speaks volumes and is slowly starting to echoing through a lot of players and peoples minds.

I'm sure that you need to probably get all sides of the story in this situation, but there have been quite a few people that have backed DJK. Also, being that there have been dozens of allegations about KF and the program he's running, you have to look at DJK's allegations differently than you did in the past. In the past, every single person viewed KF as this white knight who did nothing wrong. He was running a clean program with a great culture. Who would believe DJK when that was the overlying beliefs? The situation has changed. Kirk is not a white knight and he does not run a clean program by any means.
Like who?
There were also a number of teammates who called bull**** the last time DJK tried running with these stories. In the off-season, Iowa does these challenges where they split into different teams and compete in various competitions. You earn points for winning, and can lose points for bad conduct like showing up late, getting into trouble, etc. The players draft the teams, and his junior and senior seasons DJK was the last overall pick. KF and Doyle treated him poorly because he had an awful attitude, constantly showed up late to practices and workouts, refused to wear team gear to workouts, etc. That story tried to paint a picture that the coaches resented him because he was some big time recruit, and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

This is a really poor effort on your part. So any time a coach suspends a black athlete and I don’t personally think it was warranted, it’s racist?

Guessing Kirk will somehow say that he was right in some stupid way, like he had a minority coalition and they would talk to a rep or coach and that individual would say something, but never a player. He already has Murrow stating he brought up an issue with him, and I am guessing as this plays out, he is going to be asked about more and more situations that he will "not remember".
You can keep bumping your question because I am not listing my friends names on here.
I don't know how to copy and paste tweets but on 2015 he tweeted. "I would never call Ferentz a racist".
You cannot believe a word this guy says. Look I have no stake in this fight. I just really really hate DJK from personal experiences that he did to my best friend. That's all.
The Team Minority Caucus was to report to the Diversity Liaison, who was to then file a formal complaint with the Inclusion Ombudsmen, who then would bring the matter to the attention of the Formal Complaint Review Board, who was then to funnel the matter to the team captains. If deemed sufficient, the matter was then routed to Coach Doyle, who would then divert the matter to the attention of Norm Parker, who was charged with then sending the matter to Coach Ferentz.
This isn't hard, people.
You completely missed the point of my post, where I said that DJK's stories before all of this sounded like DJK was a lunatic, but because of all the new information out there, maybe his stories should be listened to. You saying his teammates called him out in the past does not matter when there are teammates now who are standing behind him. There were also a number of teammates who called bull**** the last time DJK tried running with these stories. When two individuals get cited for the same type of criminal offense and their race is different and their treatment is decidedly different. That is literally the definition of disparate treatment.
